Duties & Responsibilities Oversight of academic relationships of Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. Management of graduate medical education; associated health education affiliations; trainees; and funding. Management of associated health education affiliations, trainees, and funding. Management of continuing medical education. Management of academic support services, such as library/information and/or medical media service. Management of patient education. Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Physical requirements outlined below. Preferences:
- Board certification in area of specialty. - Previous supervisory experience. Reference:

Placement in this position is subject to meeting the physical requirements of this position. Pre-placement medical examination is required:
Light lifting, under 15 pounds; light carrying, under 15 pounds; hearing (aid may be permitted); working closely with others; and working alone.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
