We are hiring a core team of 5 representatives to assist us with our client; a cell phone company that is licensed by the government to distribute free cell-phones to people receiving government assistance.
It takes about 2-5 minutes to enroll the applicant into the system. The applicant must be receiving government benefits (for example, SSI, Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc) or qulaify based on income. Applicants will usually find out immediately if they are approved for the phone and will receive it by mail. The cell phone comes with 250 free minutes per month.
Representatives are asked to table events in or around high traffic areas, government buildings, community centers and meet with community contacts. It will be your responsibility to find locations that work best in your area.
This is a commission/wage based jobyou will get paid depending on the number of free phones you are able to give away in your city or county. In addition, there are numerous bonuses based on performance and referrals. We also offer optional pre-tax benefits along with health benefits after 3 months of employment with our company.
Qualifications:
Motivated and proactive individuals
3
years in outside sales or field sales
Experience in marketing and/or social services is ideal
Must have RELIABLE transportation for this position
Must be able to work 30 to 35 hours per week
Marketing or outreach experience, community contacts a plus
Management experience a plus
Must be able to pass a complete background check
